TWEAKS
(1) TEMPO: The XML file will usually contain the tempo in beats-per-minute (BPM),
and will fill in boxes “BPM” and “BPM1”. However, you may want to change them.
“BPM0” is the tempo of the generic audio. It gets filled in by the current generic audio,
which is set to 120. If you use your own generic audio, you may want to change this box.
If you choose a regular audio file, you may want to blank out BPM1, thus preventing
a tempo change of the audio file.
(2) PITCH: The box KEY1 is the pitch you want the audio to be set to.
KEY0 is the current pitch of the audio. Making them equal or blanking
them out prevents a pitch change of the audio file.
(3) START TIME: Based upon the BPM, PalkaScore tries to calculate the start time.
It may not do a good job. If you want to change it, click on the PDF file,
click the “SCORE ON” button three times, play the score a bit, click the red right and left arrows
until playing syncs up with the notes. Click the “SCORE ON” button again to get
to where you started viewing the score. Leave the score by clicking the blue left button.
You are now ready to run it as a playable score outside of Connection Wizard.
